How does the KonMari Method® differ from just organising?
It is a once and for all tidy.  When you simply organise a room or a space, you will never be finished completely because things from other parts of the house tend to find their way back to the room you’ve tidied. This method tidies by items, in a structured order, which develops your tidying skills (like a ‘tidying muscle’ that gets exercised!) and connects you with the actual quantity of items you have. It does not focus on storage products per se but on only keeping things that add value to your life and bring you joy. It’s a solution that lasts a lifetime.
Is using the services of a Professional Organiser worth it?
Yes – If you are committed to and ready to de-clutter, you want to have a place for everything, be able to find things easily, save time and money in the long run and want to experience peace of mind and a relaxing home.
Will you make me throw things away?
No. What to keep and what to discard is completely your decision. I will guide you through the steps to enable you to decide what you really love and what you don’t.
How long does it take to complete the KonMari® process?
It depends on a variety of factors. 1) How committed you are to work on the project together 2) Your aims and goals 3) The size of your house and volume of items 4) The pace you like to work at. See services for more information.
Will I have to be there throughout the tidying?

KonMari Method® is highly collaborative and requires us to work together. However, if this doesn’t suit your requirements for any reason (e.g. time constraints/ill health) I can personalise my service to your needs and can undertake tasks, to brief, without you being directly involved in the process.

What do I need to get ready before you come?
Nothing, apart from a commitment to start organising your home – the process is tailored to you, gentle, respectful and enjoyable. It is important to stay hydrated, so it’s a good idea to have liquid refreshments throughout the session.
What if I only need a few hours?
That’s perfectly fine. I am happy to help. See services for more information.
Will my sessions be confidential?
Absolutely. I hold a Certificate of Registration of the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and apply all aspects of the Data Protection Act (DPA). See the Privacy Statement for more information.
What payment methods are accepted?
Online bank transfers, cheques and cash. An invoice will be provided for each session.
What areas do you cover?

I have a home in West Sussex, a base in London and can easily cover East Sussex and Surrey too. I am happy to travel to any area if you are happy to work with me.

How does the KonMari Method® differ from minimalism?

KonMari Method® connects you with everything that you love. There is no limit to how much you can keep and no pressure to get rid of anything. The method is about surrounding yourself with things that bring you joyful pleasure, and that are easy to find and easy to put back.  Whereas minimalism focuses on sparseness and simplicity.
