I’ve always been a shopper – other people had hobbies but I loved to shop!
Not anymore. Since completing my ‘once-and-for-all’ house-tidy inspired by the Konmarie Method™, I’m a changed woman. I still love visiting shops but not willy-nilly up and down the high street or spending hours trawling online. Now I visit favourite haunts, which I absolutely love for inspiration.
Petersham Nurseries in Covent Garden is my idea of a heavenly shop. Everywhere you look there are beautiful things for the home and garden, all tied-together with an abundance of plants and flowers. I ask if I can take pictures and enjoy re-creating my own Petersham Nurseries, in miniature, at home.
I do sometimes buy but only when I see something that I truly love and know I have space for. Not only have I avoided adding clutter but I have saved so much money too.
